After seeing the residence of Chicago go from bad to worse last election, and the direction of almost every major 'progressive, sanctuary city' has taken over the past few decades, I simply can't see any change in how the majority will vote this next election cycle. Sure, there might be a slight difference, but with the overwhelming majority so dedicated to their 'progressive' leftist way of life, I just can't see them changing now. Maybe after those cities completely implode, we might see a notable shimmer of thought as to their ability to consider other options, but so long as they continue to believe the BS lines all the 'D' candidates feed them, they won't change.

NO. You don't want to buy these properties. There's likely structural issues, they need to be completely gutted to be fixed, and the neighborhoods are chaotic. You put new windows and doors on? They'll either be broken or missing the next time you visit the property. And you might find a body inside. Baltimore has a problem of government corruption at every level that prevents proper funding to social programs (a quick search of how long each mayor served will show there are deep problems), leaving large portions of the population unemployed or not making enough money to survive, and welfare is a complete joke. That aside, if you were to renovate the house, you won't want to live in the neighborhood, and you won't be able to sell it because of the crime. These homes are abandoned for a reason. The first time I hear about this $1 program they're doing, I said "Again?" It didn't work the first time, it's not going to work now. The problems that caused these homes to sit empty need to be fixed before anyone considers rebuilding.
